The #AfricanEnergyWeek conference, the biggest indigenous energy conference on the African continent was held on the 18th to 21st of October 2022 in Cape Town, South Africa. The theme, “Exploring and Investing in Africa’s Energy Future While Driving an Enabling Environment” aimed to promote investment and development in the African Energy industry.
A giant initiative from Centurion Plus, a Pan African On-Demand Platform participated at the African Energy Week to highlight their presence in both African and non-African countries. The #AEW2022 conference provided an enabling environment for several major deals, regional and local collaborations, and the creation of the anticipated African Green Energy Dialogue Initiative.
Centurion Plus is dedicated to facilitating deals in different jurisdictions on the continent.
This year, the upcoming African Energy Week will be held in Cape Town on the 16-20 October 2023.
In this regard, #AEW2023 will promote Africa as a global energy investment destination and address the consistent under-investment and difficult financial conditions across the African market. #AEW2023 aims to ensure Africa reduces its excessive reliance on external funding and energy imports while meeting its growing energy needs leveraging on local resources. #AEW2023 will make a strong case on the role Africa’s hydrocarbon resources play in boosting energy access and driving socio-economic developments across the continent
The #AEW2023 which is the AEC’s annual conference for the year 2023, invites industry stakeholders from around the world to partake in relevant energy discussions to promote the African energy sector at this 4-day event.
