Official Invitation: Oil and Gas Workshop Malabo Sept 29th to Oct 10

A new training workshop will be hosted in association with Mr. Michael Bunter of the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy of the University of Dundee.

Dear Friends,

After our successful oil and gas contracts training in Malabo this past summer, thanks to Mr. Harry Sullivan Senior Legal Counsel of ConocoPhillips, and Mr. Norman Nadorff and Karin Sinniger Legal Counsel and VP of Legal Affairs of BP, I am pleased to announce a new training workshop in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.

This new training workshop will be hosted in association with Mr. Michael Bunter of the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy of the University of Dundee. The workshop is scheduled to take place from September 29th to October 10th 2014, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
I am pleased to extend an invitation to you to participate in this training program. At Centurion, we believe the workshop takes on an in-depth and very practical approach and that participants will greatly benefit from what they learn.

The workshop will cover various subjects, particularly the following:

(i) How the International Oil and Gas Industry works;

(ii) The Monitoring and Regulation of the Upstream Sector;

(iii) Upstream Oil and Gas Acquisition and Divestment; and

(iv) Oil and Gas Project, Operation and Production Management & Economics.

Instructor’s Profile

Michael Bunter is a world-renowned petroleum geologist with more than forty-five years international oil-fields experience having lived and worked throughout the oil producing world.

Profile of Participants

Our workshop is intending to reach all types of audiences pertaining to the industry, in particular:

1. Legal professionals in the oil and gas sector wishing to increase or update their knowledge;

2. Contract managers, analysts and engineers requiring a legal overview or refresher;

3. Insurance and risk managers seeking to reduce contract risks for their companies;

4. Government officials, Policy Makers and Regulators;

5. Engineers and technical personnel seeking an insight into the contractual framework of oil and gas operations; and

6. Commercial and project managers in the petroleum industry looking to improve their contract negotiation skills.

Después de nuestra exitoso taller de contratos de petróleo y gas celebrado en Malabo el pasado verano, gracias al Sr. Harry Sullivan, Asesor Jurídico Senior de ConocoPhillips, y el Sr. Norman Nadorff y la Sra. Karin Sinniger, Asesor Jurídico y VP de Asuntos Jurídicos de BP, tengo el placer de anunciar un nuevo taller de capacitación en Malabo, Guinea Ecuatorial.

Este nuevo taller de capacitación se organizó en asociación con el Sr. Michael Bunter del Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas, Petróleo y Derecho Mineral y Política Pública de la Universidad de Dundee. El taller está programado para llevarse a cabo del 29 septiembre al 10 octubre de 2014 de 09 a.m. a 5 p.m.

Tengo el placer de invitarle a participar en este programa de capacitación. En Centurion LLP, entendemos que el taller consistirá de un análisis detallado y que el mismo tiene un enfoque muy práctico, por todo ello los participantes se beneficiarán enormemente de lo que aprendan en el aula.

Michael Bunter es geólogo de petróleo con más de cuarenta y cinco años de experiencia internacional en los campos de petróleo, tras haber vivido y trabajado en el mundo de producción la producción del petróleo.

Nuestro taller tiene la intención de ser útil para todo tipo de público que trabaja en la industria, en particular:

1. Los profesionales del derecho en el sector del petróleo y el gas que deseen aumentar o actualizar sus conocimientos
