Centurion Expands African Business Presence with New Office and Legal Summit Partnership

Malabo, 26 January 2015 – Centurion Law Firm is proud to announce it is expanding into South Africa and strengthening its position in the energy law field as a Premium Knowledge Partner of the 2015 Africa Oil & Gas Legal Summit.

Centurion’s Johannesburg office will be led by University of Pretoria and Howard University Law School Graduate Lovely Bassey and Centurion Senior Associate Cristina Sanchez. “Johannesburg is one of the major corporate centers in Africa. Our new office will empower us to serve our existing clients better, foster new business development and facilitate the firm’s long-term growth in our areas of expertise,” said Nj Ayuk, Centurion’s Managing Partner. The office will focus on corporate and commercial law with emphasis on Oil and Gas, Power, Mining and the Financial Sector.

Centurion is also increasing its role in the continent’s energy industry by serving as a Premium Knowledge Partner at the 2015 Africa Oil & Gas Legal Summit. From February 24-26, Centurion will join Africa’s leading energy experts, regulators, NOCs, IOCs and all stakeholders in the oil and gas supply chain for an event focused on the legal issues facing the industry. This Summit includes presentations from 15 of the world’s leading authorities on Africa oil and gas law, including Centurion’s Managing Partner, Nj Ayuk. In addition to these speakers, there will be at least 4 keynote presentations from high-ranking government officials from Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, Chad, and Trinidad and Tobago.
